301 Redirect

A code that is used to permanently redirect an old web page to the new web page through the use of a .htaccess file or other means to correct a broken backlink from another website that points to your website.

302 Redirect

A code that is used to indicate a ‘found’ page that temporarily redirects an old web page to the new web page through the use of a .htaccess file or other means to correct a broken backlink from another website that points to your website.

307 Redirect

The 307 Redirect is a code that is the successor of the 302 redirect that temporarily redirects an old web page to the new web page through the use of a .htaccess file or other means to correct a broken backlink from another website that points to your website. In most cases, it is best to use the 301 Redirect.

404 Page

A 404 page is a page visited by a broken link with a message displaying that the page does not exist. 4XX is a type of server error. You can get a 404 error page also when the entire website is down. (See also Broken Link)
